Pros

It grips the umbrella in 2 places with adjustable screws. Convenient and sturdy umbrella base. We have two patio umbrellas, one that rises straight up, and another that is on a cantilever.

This thing is now much heavier and hasn’t moved since, even under windy conditions. It is a little tipsy when there is wind.

Took some patience to get a bag of sand into the small fill hole but eventually worked and then topped off with water. However, the base is watertight and filling it with water should be enough.

Cons

It is solo cheaply made. It is wobbly. It's hard to imagine that a steel screw would break during the shipment alone.
