This machine is perfect. It's a workhorse. It feeds flawlessly. The time savings are immense. These are just perks of this machine.

I love this scanner it’s soooo easy to use and fast. The thing i like about this one a little bit better is that you only have the one piece flipping up to open it up. It's easy to used and pretty sturdy.

Cons

It is ugly and outdated looking. Construction is flimsier than its predecessor. It never goes away, it's there stinking like last weeks bad fish in the garbage can. Doesnt come with any.

Connecting to the device is no longer easy. Installation software tries to push you to their cloud service. It will flat out hog your computers memory as it is the worse resource hog i've ever seen.

Scan to email doesn't work if you're using the o365 version of outlook (yes the locally installed copy, not the web version) it identifies photos as documents most of the time and sometimes as receipts but never once did it detect a photo. All the pag... Read More

They are constantly updating the firmware in the scanner to tweak found issues, and adding features.

It will scan a stack of papers quickly, will scan even down to receipts that are thin paper and only 1.

This thing has paid for itself as far as i am concerned and allowed us to get so much more simplified.

This scanner is absolutely worth every penny!

Setup was easy; haven't had but a couple of days; working ok at this time.

Packaging/appearance

I love it, i use for wet sign packaged document scanning.

Competitiveness

This scanner was way better than the neat scanner and had parts that were replaceable, which i enjoyed.

The ix1500 of course is faster and better in every measurable way.

If given the chance, i would purchase a ix500 over an ix1500, but i would never go back to a neat scanner.

I have spent a lot of money on different brands of scanners, including other models made by fujitsu.
