It has a better chance than a dishcloth or sponge doing those jobs. Wooden base makes it very sturdy and has a nice feeling in your hand.

Cons

Brush is to rough to scrub ordinary dishes but not hard enough for cleaning pots and pans. The bristles are stiff and concave so scrubbing flat pans or plates is not very effective.

The thinnest part of the handle is made of flimsy plastic. The handle is too large and chunky.

The bristles are not too stiff nor too soft, and i find it’s more attractive than the grocery store brushes.
