They looked into it and realized it was an error at the warehouse

They emailed me the english instructions which were slightly different and more clear than the chinese ones and issued a refund

They said that all kits are supposed to come with english instructions

The instructions showed somewhat unclear pictures for how to do the different stitches but the written instructions were all in chinese and the stitches in the instructions did not match what was shown on the photo of the finished piece

Eventually i deciphered that some of the numbers in the instructions told you which color to use and some told you how many strands to use
