Pros

This thing is awesome. Just search it on here. This is fantastic and the best thing i ever purchased. I highly recommend this and it really works great!

Dematter removes mats with less discomfort than other methods. I have a ragdoll who gets mats under his front arms and on his chest. The key is to be patient with your pet and work on one knot/matt at a time and it will work.

Grabs a lot of undercoat in a short amount of time. This gets all of the undercoat that regular brushes and combs seem to miss. I was relieved to not have to take her in for a professional grooming.

Strong enough to hold up against a furminator terminator. This tool helps keep the experience quick and painless. I am so pleased that the chore was quick and easy.

Cons

This is the first furminator product that did not exceed expectation.

However, the scissor blades are very dull.

The instructions were a paper of instructions for probably every tool they make, and we nearly followed the wrong ones.

I figured i needed to get this cat to a vet, it was so bad--the entire half of her back was severly matted with large very hardened mats.

I didn’t think there was anything we could do for her and she’s not a sweet pleasant cat anyway so it had to be gentle to use it on her
