Works great on long & short hair.

It does tend to be a little pricey and you must be careful not to break the little teeth but it is worth every penny!
It was the best price i could find, in pet stores it was so much more expensive.
I had purchased a cheaper imitation and was very disappointed.

Our dog a black lab used to be kept outdoors and therefore had a very thick coat made him quite hot in summer but by using the furminator it lessoned his amount of fur especially the fine undercoating
