The only problem i had was it didnt sit completely into the battery slot i didnt feel comfortable about this because i dont know if eventually it would cause some kind of malfunction which was unfortunate thats why i decided to return it

I thought i bought a bad battery but it turns out you have to1 put in in the laptop the battery icon will show around 6570 when you turn it on this is common for long term battery storage and shipping2

The machine will shut down shut it down if your machine doesnt automatically shut down at low power4

This old hp laptop runs linux mint these days and the power settings are set to dim the screen when the battery stops charging which happened every 5 seconds after i attempted to charge it
