Lots of needles. All in a zip top bag. Will be purchasing again. Only issues the aida isn't the best quality.
This is definitely good for a beginner. As a casual crafter who doesn't want to spend a small fortune everytime they do a project this kit is great. Hoops, a little embroidery kit and some aida.

Cons
The material is so thick and hard that you can’t get it into a hoop to use. I didn't get any needles, the aida is not 14 count and the hoops are terrible quality. They are extremely thin and do not hold the cloth whatsoever!

Also had to invest in a needle threader as these threads were very very very hard to thread because of their thickness
