The slight incline of the mat does guide water toward the drain section though i did notice this doesnt work perfectly and some water sat in place on the mat overnight

Ive never had a silicone mat where that didnt happen though even those with an inclined design like this

Other mats dont have deep ridges and the cupsglasses never seem to dry completely because the ridges are very shallow
