It looks even better in person outside is real leather including small pouch pen is pu and the whole inside is also fake and the strap but it is good quality pu leather not that horrible fake

One con because of the surrounding leather retaining the ipad in place the bottom frame of the ipad is covered making it impossible to swipe up from the bottom to display icons and open apps
