The second group typically works less and as a result are less aware of their surrounding and a large percentage of them are actually on their phones as they walk around the lake

I mention this because the more people there are on the trails the more tells i have to look for to try to identify erratic behavior before it manifests

This includes dogs passing each other on opposite sides of the trail suddenly crossing to meet one another children spotting a duck in the river darting across to get a closer look or someone so engrossed in their phone that they are on the wrong side of the trail as they go around a corner

In summary if you want to actually be safer on the trails and feel safer so you can focus on enjoying the outdoors then get yourself a pair of these elbow guards
