Pros & Cons
Pros
In inspecting the product when it arrived, i am beyond confident it will do the job on the day it is needed. These help my dad maintain an active lifestyle but protects him from brusing and pain when gardening and working on the house.
The padded area is about a half inch thick i'd say. Having these knee pads on for my ride means i have no concerns about taking a spill. The elbow pads are also great!
The tech fabric breathes well, holds up when washed, and seems to be maintaining elasticity. Maybe it's the heat from your leg that makes them more pliable or slightly loosens the material. Comfortable for pedalling.
The pro-x (2018) fits perfectly, not as tight as a compression sleeve, but close. I’m 5’5” and 144 lbs with a typical cyclist frame, smaller arms bigger legs.
Cons
These pads are definitely light weigh and flexible, but the sizing options are inadequate. It is very frustrating that i cant find my size because i would love to use these. They're ok in the comfort department but not great.

Competitiveness
I got these in medium and they fit true to size (similar to m size from tld, fox, alpinestars, etc.
The elite models have a different pattern and more coverage than the pro-x models which is appreciated.
We measured the leg to compare to the chart & read the other reviews & saw others had issues with running small.
