Pros & Cons
Pros
I wear it under my jumpsuit while skydiving and it really helps to soften the blows when i hit the earth a little harder than expected! Starting to see other jumpers wearing these at the drop zone now. Protective padding is sufficient and not bulky.
Cons
These are advertised as being for youth and adult, but they are sized for little kids. The sizing chart image in the product description is not correct. The pad failed directly along the seam line, separating the pad from the cloth.
Highlights
Quality
Pros: excellent fit and feel, good protection for low/med speed sports (<20mph or 30kph).
Gives me the confidence i need to hit the slopes hard and not have to worry about a bruised tailbone.

Price
I cannot afford to purchase safety products that can only withstand a single mild/moderate incident.
Having the stitching pop is a lame point of failure in a $90 pair of padded shorts.

Shipping
I ordered the shorts through amazon, purchased 12/21/19 and delivered 12/28/19.
Competitiveness
I would also say these probably aren't the greatest for mountain biking or snow sports, where the impact & speed is much greater.

The protection on these is definitely minimal but the padding is in the exact right spots for when you slip out on stuff
