Fabric is just what i expected, not too light, but not the overly heavy type of polyester workout material you sometimes see.
I also love short skirts but don't like the idea of unwittingly exposing my nethers lol, so the built-in short is aces.

One thing i noticed when pulling these on is the waist does not have a lot of give in it so i was at first afraid they would not fit

I would however suggest going up a size if you are between sizes or if you want these to fit a little looser

It does have shorts underneath and there is a pocket in the shorts for a phone or golf balls

Notes i found it to be perfectly true to size not two bulky and not tight in any areas
