If you're looking for a quality digital watch, you can't go wrong with this one.
Mine won't sink with the app on my phone right now but i think it's because this is a new release.
With the press of a button on the watch, it will sync to your phone.

No issues, as advertised, new in box, warranty cards, instruction manual, prompt shipping.
Packaging/appearance
The backlight is an upgrade both in function and aesthetics from the green el on the 5610.
Everything else is just icing on the cake.
Competitiveness
I have been looking for a g-shock square with a negative display, reasonable size and an adjustable afterglow.
This is a great replacement for full metal 5000 series if you don't want spend 400 usd on a gshock square.

Cons the connection to the phone is horrible and useless basically after you connect the watch and adjust it the first time

It is tough low profile solar powered great for me because i hate changing watch batteries and also looks kind of badass being all black with a negative display

The band is an unusual for g shock combination resinmetal link bracelet and since i have a very small wrist i had to remove five links from it to get it to fit properly
