Pros

The ram itself looks great to start. Really easy to instal ram as well. Mem tested with zero errors after moving the sticks, and been running flawless for almost a week.

Not a screamer, but still decent for casual gaming and music audio work station. Rig is much happier now. Multitasking is seamless and extremely responsive.

Cons

Gskill memory is cheap, but shipping sensitive electronics this way is the dumbest idea i've ever heard. To add to my complaint now, amazon is slow to refund so i have had to charge back the purchase. Do yourself a favor an buy these from somewhere el... Read More

After lots of cmos clearing and installing 1 stick at a time to troubleshoot, it turns out i have one dead stick. Tried the other 3 at one time, same freeze. Got 3 long beeps then rebooted a few times.

Shipping

I was extremely happy with amazon's logistics.

This arrived quickly (overnight) and worked out of the gate.

The ram was delivered and in my hand in less than 48 hours from the time of ordering.

I shipped the sticks to them (i had to pay the shipment charges which is ok) and received the replacement sticks in about week.

Packaging/appearance

The ram came perfectly as expected, in the original packaging with everything included.

The contents were in a plastic transparent sleeve that was branded.

Competitiveness

It's hard to find a definite yes or no if 2 different sizes of the same brand and speed will work and in my case, it did not.
