Pros

G. Skill ripjaws x series. Working at spec speed with no problem with no bad blocks. I stream and play a lot of higher powered games, and these are great and obviously easy to install in a build. Had g-skill already in my pc, just adding more ram.

It's not the best price for ddr3 ram, but my first (cheapest) choice didn't let the hardware post. Will overclock and keeps my older setup rolling for another year or two.

My ancient lga1155 motherboard is now maxed out at 32 gb. Skill f3-1600c9d-16gxm ripjaws x series 16gb (2 x 8gb) is a good buy to upgrade from the ripjaws 8gb if you are looking for a starting upgrade.

Cons

Buyer beware. Bad post data and bad pool data and other bsod. Couldn't even pull up a * report. Not happy with the ram.

Great price for good old classic ddr3 ramwill reccomend to anyone looking to beef up an old system

Either way, this ram was priced ok and easily adjusted in bios to increase the speed.

Shipping

Shipped fast and arrived undamaged, which is always a concern of mine when ordering from amazon.

The only issue is they shipped me two pairs of the ram instead of one.

Again, it worked great, but they sent me two orders.

Competitiveness

If you are looking for ram clocked at a base frequency of 1600mhz, stay away from this brand.

If you have an amd ryzen, i was told it's better to use g skill flare-x instead.

I had wanted the 2133 or 2400mhz version, but are hard to find and more than twice the price of these 1600mhz.
