Worked for me just enabling xmp profile right out of the package.

Mines eth @ 90mh/s +/- 2 depending on the overclock.

Competitiveness

3800mhz gave my apu a +10-20fps average on all games from a 3200mhz kit.

Installed in an asus rog strix x570-e motherboard with a ryzen 9 5900x, works great.

Paired with a ryzen 5700g, could only get the ram to 3800mhz stable.

Had to enable xmp in advanced settings on my mag x570 wifi, it didn't automatically boost in easy settings with over clock.
