I'm so happy they improved volume and power button area, before it wouldn't even sit flush with the edge of the phone.
The screen protector is really nice as well, a little hard to aligned with the bevel edge screen but is nice overall .
Overall i am satisfied with the cover.
Packaging/appearance
I purchased it because i dropped my last phone (note 4) and cracked the screen.
Competitiveness
Consthe battery charge opening won't take large charging ends, not big enough for a portapow charging cable, for example.
I rate it above spigen slim case.

It fits very snugly in fact so snugly you have to be careful to retract buttons as you slip it over them

There is a slight horse shoeshaped lump which protects the camera lense when the case is sitting on a hard surface

It is definitely a nonslip case so it wont slip out of your hand without the case the note 5 is very slippery

The case does curve slightly over the metal and towards the glass which protects the metal and glass when it is face down
