Pros

The pieces have mold lines at the sides and lots of sharp flash at the bases. Be ready with a diamond file and some time. This is important to me because my previous set was a gift from my grandson.

Cons

Several pieces were chipped or marred upon arrival. The pieces have very prominent seams and the clear glass pieces have a lot of imperfection. The started pealing after a couple games.

Lastly in one of my sets i was sent 2 frosted queens and no king. Very disappointed with product. Would not recommend. And lastly, the pictures look nice but, what i received, should not have been sold.

Other than the few pawns being chipped i would still recommend and hope for the best during the shipping process.

Even with how tightly and well it was packaged for shipping.

Packaging/appearance

Love how well constructed it was, only issue was the childish packaging.

The packaging was dented in on one side but i was hoping for the best.

A more elegant packaging option would elevate this products ability for gifting.

Competitiveness

I have to say i have been looking for a good-looking chess set for my coffee table.

Some werent so bad so i lived with it but alot of them came chipped.
