Machine washable though i suspect it will lose some fluff but it does not appear it will unravel or fall apart or that the backing will disintegrate

The loss of 1 star comes from the shape of toilet lid cover which is actually not usable for a standard kohler round lid as this is actually not symmetrically shaped
