Pros

This color takes months to fade, so it's definitely a good permanent color. Great coverage for grey hair. Usually end up putting a toner on it and that helps it get a little lighter as well.

Leaves my hair silky smooth. It's irritating, but for me, it's not a deal breaker.

The product listing does state that packaging may vary, but both the exterior packaging and contents are different than what is currently on store shelves. This price beats normal local prices, here. Good buy for me.

Cons

The cream inside the tube was also multicolored. It isn't burgundy 42. The product smells bad upon rinsing out your hair. My gloves are olive green l, my scalp and ears are green.

The updated version of this isn't the same as it once was. I see looking at reviews here, at cvs and other retailers that since the change others are having the same issue.

The new ultra creme formula is absolutelyawful! The new formula is very thick. Looks like the formula was redesigned but the tube and bottle were not adjusted to function with it.

The conditioner they include is really a waste of packaging and not moisturizing enough.
