I tried several different red hair colors to change from my naturally medium brown hair and while i could get a bold red color our of several box brands it seemed impossible to find something in a more natural shade of red to go with my pale skin

Upon first dying it looked like i was going to have the same issue as all the other box brands id tried certainly red but far too bold to fool anyone into thinking youre a redhead by birth think kirsten dunst in the first spiderman movie

After that initial justdyed sheen faded with the first couple shampoos though the deeper tones were gone and the lightening effect advertised on the box really became noticeable

Unless of course you want to strip the color out or bleach first
