Pros
Typing with double shot pbt pudding keycaps sounds absolutely amazing. This switch is very smooth, even without lube. The click is so satisfying and the slightly increased force for actuation just makes it for me. Love the buttery smoothness.
The quality of these where much higher than the cherry clones on my existing board. Heavier and louder than cherry mx blues. Lighter on the touch than reds.
Received the switches about 3 weeks after ordering, shipping to florida took 14 days. Worth the wait, same switches for half the price of other retailers.
These are the best budget linear switch on the market. These are affordable switches that feel high end. These gateron blues are a decent value.
Tightly fits onto my reddragon k556, which came with outemus that had thinner pins.

I wish the gateron yellows had a little tighter tolerance for the stem in the top housing, but that's life.
Shipping
Shipping speed was fast (a little under two weeks) and the value is great.
Unlike most keyboard parts not prime the shipping was decent.
Received the switches about 3 weeks after ordering, shipping to florida took 14 days.
Packaging/appearance
I used one of the switches in the pack to swap out a faulty switch on my keyboard.
Competitiveness
They are a bargain for gateron yellow switches considering how much they cost else where on some other websites.
These gateron blues are a decent value.
They don't sound nearly as good to hand lubed switches in my opinion.

Without lube these switches are a little scratchy and there is some spring ping

I went ahead and opened these up and lubed them with some krytox 205 g0 equivalent and my god they are smoother than butter

When lubed these easily are in the same class as something far more expensive like tangerines and ink blacks

Weird thing is when i put a keycap on the switch and push on the edge it kind of buckles in a way that with my other switches it didnt

Out of my bag i had a decent amount of them either be defective or prebent when i received them but i had expected this when i ordered them

The gateron yellow switches themselves are pretty smooth and easy to install however i received the wrong order as i only received 68 switches when i ordered 88 switches
