Took a star off because it is not near the sturdy/heavy feeling of the original.


Check the hose near cap to overflow bottle - mine was full clogged and added to the unacceptable water loss in a month with old cap.

    I was scared it wouldnt fit because the numbers werent matching up but i forgot my truck isnt american made and that they use different measurements over seas

    The problem with my old cap was the upper and lower radiator hoses would collapsewhen the engine cooled

    After comparing my old cap to the replacement it appears the spring that controls thevacuum button on the bottom of the cap had less resistanceis smoother than the springin the old cap

    In other words as the engine cooled the suction was able to pull the vacuum button downand bring in fluid from the overflow tank
