    I changed the working stant thermostat for the gates one only took a couple of hours to change this time i already had all the correct wrenches out and the skinned places on my knuckles patched up

    The original thermostat lasted 15 years lets hope this new one will last at least that

    The thermostat looks good and strong but the original one appears more robust specifically the gates cylinder is noticeably narrower than the oe by about 4mm i hope this is due to advanced technology and not inferior cost cutting
