Pros & Cons
Pros
Gates is far superior to all other multi v-groove belt. Fit sienna van perfectly. It fit like a glove.
Highlights
Quality
Product fixed my car as it was designed to do.
The correct size, correct price, good quality, and besides it being a beast to access the belts on a lexus rx300, i'm happy.
I knew it had to do with the belt being too loose, but for some ridiculous reason i kept putting off fixing it.
The previous belt (different manufacturer) would squeal, even with the proper tension and belt dressing.
Price
It was received on time, packing was very good and the price was right.
Packaging/appearance
Excellent product, fast shipping, and strong packaging to prevent damage during shipping.
Competitiveness
I used this to replace a different brand.

I first loosened the 3 bolts attached to the alternator 1the pivot bolt 2the long bolt that goes thru the alternator from side to side and finally 3the tension adjustment bolt

I first started tightening the tension adjustment bolt the bolt facing upward at a 45 degree angle toward the radiator until when i tried to turn this belt by hand to the side i could only turn the belt about 45 degrees to the side as per a youtube video recommendation

I dont know what the torque specs are for the pivot bolt the long bolt i just tightened them tight but not crazy tight if that makes any sense

Bottom line is that the pivot bolt is the last one that you tighten
