Gates manufactures the oem belts for honda. Works perfectly but not a procedure to be done by the average back-yard mechanic. Inexpensive and an oes part, no complaints.

When i changed my first honda timing belt 05 civic the belt i pulled off said honda in large lettering and had the gates logo next to it in smaller lettering

The latest belt i put on a civic was a mitsuboshi because thats what came in the water pump timing belt kit but both are suppliers to honda and theres no noticeable difference between the two belts

The gates is made in the us and mitsuboshi i believe was made in japan

The only difference is this one did not have honda written on it
