Pros

Gaviscon advance seems to be more effective than the other type, (sold in the bottle) really help my stomach. If you have whiskey gut or just ate some bad chinese food this is what you need. Worked quickly to stop reflux burn.

Cons

Aspartame is a * known to cause eye pain, blindness, and other medical issues. Better to change diet and use digestive enzymes. Other alginate products legitimately create a squishy gel like raft that floats.

They are more affordable, but these are nice to carry in the purse or for travel so i'll keep some for those occasions.

The reason why i deducted a star is because the box it came in was pretty banged up.

The box was smashed but the contents was fine.

Competitiveness

So far this product works just as well for me as the gaviscon advanced for lpr.

Not as effective as gaviscon advance, but stronger than regular gaviscon, and much better than typical antacids.

This particular type of gaviscon just seems to be more effective than the other type, (sold in the bottle).
