Pros

Easy to set up, accurate and consistent, easy to change if so desired. I actually have an aquarium light plugged into this, so the fish have a set time and pattern for their day and night cycle.

This is all you need for lamp timers for vacation. This works great for my snake uvb bulb. This is your basic timer and it works great.

Cons

When lamp plugged in, on timer with yeah, all in off position, the lamp is on. This timer does absolutely nothing. It only detects the flips about 1/3 of the time.

This product is not easy to install. The one saving grace is i purchased it from amazon. Only 1 works.

The bulb fused on the lamp i had this timer on, and now i can’t seem to get it to work again (after replacing the bulb).

I've never had one burned out by the load because the current is switched mechanically rather than by electronics.

Price

I've used these inexpensive timers for years.

The timers could be taken apart and re-greased but they are so inexpensive that it's easier to replace them.
