Pros & Cons
Pros
This ge flat surge protector with side outlets provides a safer means of discreetly plugging in my pricier echo studio, without needing to run an ugly cord down the side of the fireplace.
Been using it for over 6 months now. Works flawlessly. Contrary to some other reviewers, it looks clean and sleek.
Cons
While this is a sturdy piece, the distance between outlets isn't sufficient to allow most of my devices’ charging units to plug in.
Lasted 8 months. It stopped for only one reason - everything being sold these days is junk! It shutoff and no longer works. I understand that it will stop functioning after a big surge but expiration? It lasted 2 days then it blow up and can't be use.... Read More
At least it plugs easily into the wall. Item is flimsy, as much as a corded model that would be half the price.
Highlights
Quality
Very easy to use i love that it is super sturdy and durable.
Plugs right in and is quite sturdy.
This is therefore not as stable in staying fully flush, not moving when turning on adapters plugged into the outlet thing
Anyway, it just stops working after the surge suppressor expires, which should take a very long time in most homes.
Price
Happy with the numbers for the price.
Packaging/appearance
Mainly adding a picture review to show the specs on the box which match what's written on the surge protector.
Competitiveness
I was also surprised that it has no ge branding on it which makes me wonder if this is a ge design, or if they are just reselli... Read More
Had another ge that was more slim, but this was not bad

I purchased this for use in a gfci which ive learned is common that gfci have a slightly wider spacing between the two sets of plug holes due to the testreset buttons between them

While this is a common issue for any brand of these receptacle extenders and not specific to this one it would have been nice for the description to point out it is common for gfci to have a wider pin spacing or to have accommodated this in the design

As we do not need to be plugging and unplugging devices from this once it is setup i have opted to cut the plastic alignment pin off and use it

While it has surge suppression it does not have an led to indicate the status of surge suppression which ive become used to on these types of devices im not sure how i feel about that
