Pros

The ge remote is a real champ. I know, this review is corny. Very pleasantly surprised.

This remote is backlit and connects to many devices that others do not. The backlit keyboard makes it easy to find your button. See photo for button mapping and code. I'm good without the shortcuts so it doesn't matter.

A lot nicer than most tv oem remotes, in my opinion. Works on jvc tv and panasonic blu-ray/cd player as well. Works with verizon motorola cablebox, panasonic blueray, and vizio speaker.

I wish the roku programmed * were programmable by the user instead of pre programmed. Has a very up to date list of codes. Very simple to setup.

Cons

Won’t pair with pace dc60xu hd dta cable box. Very frustrated but mostly with suddenlink rip-off cable company. Not being a real techy guy, this item is disappointing.

It’s light up buttons are great in the dark and the functionality works with about any device i try it with.

Used simple 4-digit code entry for tv and roku but soundbar worked without activation as it connect to the tv via optical cable.

It codes quickly, it changes channels and volume like a mutha and get this.

Price

The prices of this remote is also a bargain.

For 9 bucks, this is a terrific solution for our streaming and otr tv viewing pleasure.

Avoiding a trip to the xfinity store alone was worth the $11 or whatever this costs.

Have to spend an extra $10 on some grip tape to add on the sides and bottom !

I also appreciate the frustration-free packaging with less unnecessary plastic.

I love that it came preprogramed to work with roku boxes, so all i had to program was the tv and my old blu-ray player.

I never thought this would be the case but now i've got four remote packed away.

Competitiveness

It is a perfect alternative to the xr2 or other comcast cable box remote.

Ordered this to combine roku, cable box and vizio tv.

Not compatible with firetv, which i dont use that often so no big deal.
