It was great for that and sturdy plus a cool color not that dingy white or basic black that everything comes in.

The fire department said that if it weren’t for the surge protector, all my appliances that were plugged into that outlet would have fried.

Always buy a surge protector, not just a power strip!

Price

I needed a new one and the price was right, works fine.
