This dehumidifier has simple controls. I appreciate real pushbutton instead of the usual capacitive touch ones. It also has a timer function, but i don't use it.

Built well and pretty quiet and just runs like a beast. We have it in a cellar that has humidity in the high 40% range. It’s not too noisy and it draws reasonably quietly!

Cons

The idea that such a large appliance is not repairable at all is insane to me. It is worth noting this is not the advertised warranty in the manual which says they will replace a product or refund the purchase price.

I then bought this ge unit with a capacity of 50 pints ( 800 ounces) and it filled to capacity in just under a day.
