Water flow is excellent for the life of the filter.

I have used this filter and the fthlm filter as well (more expensive and filters to a much lower level).
With us it means less than 3 months but overall i prefer this filter to other equivalents or 3rd party filters.

By wear out i mean the filter turns yellow in color and i know its time for a replacement

Only time there was an issue with water flow was when there was a pipe burst down the street and it filled my filter with dirt that came in from the main

I thinknif your filter is not lasting the time it says you might wanna talk with water company cause the only reason your filter slows water down after a while is cause of the bad stuff filter is stopping

I used to have a really bad smell of chlorine in my water and i no longer have that smell
