Pros & Cons
Pros
Love the filter change indicator. The fact that i haven't switched to different or cheaper ones says it all.
We live in a town that grew too quickly into a city. This filter is amazing quality.
Cons
My smaller inline filters are not so bad. Will need to replace 2 items because of this issue.
This filter is advertised to filter out odor. Did not filter out rust-colored particles. Only filtering city water so the water is not super dirty.
Highlights
Quality
This filter seems well made, and it is, of course, easy to install.
This filter itself is super easy to install and a perfect fit for our ge filtration housing.
We have extremely hard water at our house, and we installed one of these whole house filters probably 10 years ago.
It screens out rust, sediment, and sand measuring 30 microns and above.
Price
Great price - and even better price if you make it a subscribe and save item!
This is a great price for this item and much needed to make your water tastes better.
Here's how i would rate them;vegebe 20 - low cost / low performance, about $11 ech.
The price had double in the last 30 days, seems like price gouging!
Shipping
It arrived quickly and in good condition.
"double check your subscription settings vs when they are actually scheduled to be delivered.
This subscription is set to deliver every three months.
Received a delivery in november, december, and january.
Packaging/appearance
It looks like the packaging was updated 2022, but it appears to be the same filter as the ones that i bought in bulk back in 2020.
Competitiveness
This ge filter feels more robust and better made than the off-brand ones we've had.
Convenient since we have to replace it every 6 months and it’s the same price as the big box store with faster delivery.
The third photo is a comparison to the vegebe 20 filter on the left this filter is much more comparable to the ge fxhsc but has... Read More
I had the opportunity to look at three different filters, so i gave a comparison of all three.
