Pros

Ge fxuvc filter takes away the chlorine taste of my municipal water. The filtered water comes out at almost the same rate as the unfiltered. The tap line is generally quite fast from most municipalities, ranging from 50 to 75 psi.

Easy peasy. Installing is easy if you already have a faucet.

These are the same filters used in my former kitchenaid fridge. The ge filter canister accepts several different types of replacement filters.

Cons

Unit leaks from a seam in the water manifold. Appears the entire seam looks weak and can leak from many places. Leaks from inlet and from top.

Ge supposedly has a 1 year warranty on this unit, but not through amazon! Very unpleasant. Warranty is fraudulent too.
