Extends the life, local hard water tastes better and easy to maintain
Good filter, works as advertised, will buy again.
After replacing the filter within a few minutes, i tested the water for myself.
Copper pipe, even at this diameter, doesn't bend very well without cracking so be careful when installing.

Completely what i expected at a much lower price than at my local home centers.
Secondly, the product was at a more reasonable price than one that i had bought previously.
This filter is available at a much lower price but without the quick change connectors.

Once you set up the initial inline adapters the subsequent filters snap into and out of the water line with ease

I recommend using a water line that can be startedstopped close to the filter so that you can catch the water in a bucket without spilling it on the ground as it starts back up and before reconnecting the outgoing end to water line

The filter requires you to run about 3 gallons of water through it to 34break it in34 before using it which is normal for this type of filter and many water filters in general

Then unscrew the connectorsfrom the old one and save them for next time

It took longer to turn off the water than it did to install the replacement cartridge
