Pros

Easy to use without a lot of gimmicks on the control panel. Control panel is exactly the same as the one on my old microwave. The airflow duct work fit with all attaching screw holes an exact match.

Cons

The magnetron fails after the warranty expires. Its lack of durability and lame warranty leave me very disappointed.

It's not the diode, hv capacitor, or hv transformer. Doesn't heat up anything just makes a loud pop when first trying to heat something.

Beware that if you put food in and do not start in a few minutes, you must reopen the dood to activate unit.

Tonight the 16" glass plate (ge part #ap4345996) just snapped into two pieces while a bag of steamable veggies was cooking.

Price

I found a source of replacements on the well known 'auction site' (ebay) for $44.

So that we are on a fair playing field check the price of this at home depot.

That's ridiculously expensive, but still much cheaper than buying it directly from ge or other parts suppliers.
