Pros

Overall very sturdy product and easy to install. I guess they are lower volume today, as they are difficult to find and now cost several dollars in the retail realm. Easy to install and super easy to use.

No more electrocution or fire hazard worries. The switch itself is solid, and no visible sparks (arcing) eliminates 4 way twist switch.

Replaces an old one that was shorting out and did not have the proper wiring. Screws for terminals are normal size to fit typical lamp wire gauges. Unscrew power cables from old switch. Bought 4 of them to rewire 4 lamps.

Cons

The guage of the housing is so light that it doesn’t clamp together tightly. Read the description closely…or you might be deceived. The base of the socket threads down tightly on the lamp stem.

The price was the same as the home stores, so i ordered it here and the next day it was delivered, on the lamp and working.

The instructions on the packaging were good and in short order i had a workable lamp for a fraction of what a new lamp would have cost.
