The bulb is not for a dimmable fixture. They shed a dusky light that is not even safe for descending my stairs. The light creates a loud buzzing noise compared to other lights this allegedly replaces.

They are the best of any i've tried in light quality (cri), and that seems to be the hardest thing to get right.

About a third of these are on 247 and the rest are only off for 610 hrs a day in offpeak energy bill hours

I tested them out in the spaces and each of these had some odd light characteristics

They were either cooler than 2700k regular bulbs color 34temperature34 or gave off a greenish light or made ones skin look a sort of deathgrey

You can hardly tell them apart from the incandescents

They also stick out a tad more than a regular bulb which is generally not an issue but some fixtures were very shallow so the bulbs stick out a bit more than they did in some cases
