Pros

Hopefully it's sturdy enough to last me a couple of years. If it at least lasts me all season with no issues i'll be happy. Ge is a well-known brand with a reputation for producing high quality products.

This unit cools our bedroom (which is ~165 sq ft) very quickly. Humidity levels are a big factor where comfort is concerned. One is totally enough for my room about 120sft.

This air conditioner has some big annoyances, but overall it’s a great product. The smart app/alexa capabilities are a luxury. The remote is nice, although we haven't used it very much.

This is definitely perfect for a midsize room. Perfect for my home office in my finished attic space. My room is 13 x 15 ft (195 sq ft) room.

Cons

The clanking is awful. The hassle of returning is not worth the 2-day shipping. This is junk.

It's very easy to get the remote control out of sync. Wifi function and app are as slow and clumsy as everyone says. Homekit controls are minimal and their app is absolute garbage.

Shipping

Received in time for this wicked heatwave we are experiencing here in the northeast.

Unfortunately, thanks to amazon mine was shipped on it's back but was caught on time and it was straighten.

According to most manufacturer's this can cause a problem if it is shipped incorrectly.

However, how the hell is anyone suppose to know how the air-conditioner is handled when it's being shipped.

It looks nicer than the old one, which was an almond and brown (80's) color.
