Pros

The clear is more forgiving than a colored sealant. It stops leaking. It seems like a good product.

Cons

Ge silicone caulk dries very fast and shrinks considerably. It's impossible to remove it from anything without an hour of peeling, scrubbing, and a few choice words. Ge, put silicon sealant on your r&d list.
