Pros

The top and bottom sections unscrew from each other, this provides access to the contacts for installation. Much better quality than the brass sockets. Easy to install, worked great on my refurbished 70s lamp.

Great price. Sturdy construction. Easy to install.

Cons

Most frustrating is that the top section wobbles in the bottom section once assembled. This is not on the packaging or product description at all. Would have been better off going to the hardware store.

Only 4 tabs to connect instead of many equally spaced tabs. Seems like contacts in rotating switch were/are corroded as with more use the lighting has gotten easier, but still have to find contact point which is lost if bump lamp. Supposed to have 3 s... Read More
