Distance Compatibility
Customers have had mixed experiences with the GE TL86597 InstaJack Wireless Phoneline Jack's ability to maintain a signal over distance. Highlights
Quality
Good quality, easy to use, no assembly required.
It works great and was super easy to install.
As far as the installation, i followed the instructions and had both receivers programed to the one transmitter in no time.
This room, while on the same floor, is separated by about 50 feet and down a hall (with several walls) from the original transmitter.
Price
The call quality is slightly degraded using this device, but for the price this is definitely a 4 star item that i would recommend.
00/month not to be connected to the phone, i think this instajack has paid for itself now.
Before making this purchase i also considered several other possible solutions from the amazon website: audiovox ($27.
Shipping
If needed, you should obtain one before this product arrives.
Before this product arrived i went to the ge website, downloaded and read the installation instructions several times.
Competitiveness
Many years ago we purchased something similar and it worked well, and was soooo much cheaper.
Otherwise, it's a cheap, easy way to get a phone jack where one doesn't currently exist.
Oh well, it is better than nothing that's for sure.
