They come on at dusk and stay on until the morning sun comes up. Sensor works well too. The one on the staircase turns on every time we head up to bed. The light sensor is perfect.

Light is too wide to work on my grouped switch panel. It interferes with the touch panel that controls the bathroom fan. Poor light sensor.
