What you would expect from an edison type of bulb, beware that if you are putting the bulb in a naturally dark place like a bathroom with no windows or a low wall plug in the shadows or even kitchen under cabinet it will stay on indefinitely there is no way to switch off or adjust sensitivity which is annoying i find myself wanting to unplug bc honestly it shouldn't be on during broad day light at like 12 noon , and i don't know how much energy its using or how much to run these plugins the packaging doesn't mention any of that info, hope that helps  Read Less
