Yes it makes a little clunk when the charging begins and there is a low hum while charging but its hardly intrusive

Its not an issue for me as i mounted the charger on a wall in front of my car but if i buy a different plugin or ev in the future that doesnt have the port in a similar location i may have to back the car in or relocate the charger
