Pros

Replacement is not too difficult, but it does require handling the cumbersome glass stove top. There is some fiberglass insulation where the plates are so i'd recommend wearing an n95 mask or equivalent when installing. Easy to install.

Ge range goes through one of these burners every 3 years or so. This burner seems to be one that is commonly replaced and likely most commonly used. I have a samsung glass top stove but the many of the stoves use the same burner element set up. Its he... Read More

Disappointed and dissatisfied. Burner came broken in two places. I get it on october, install in november 2019, burned in march 2020.

Price

This is just what i needed, and it cost less than having to get a new stove.

This purchase made the repair much more cost and time effective than calling a service person.

Price was less than i paid 5 years ago from a different seller.

Something told me to check the manual and the replacement part was $50 more if purchased directly through the manufacturer.

Packaging/appearance

This element came in a ge box and was identical to the factory unit-- a little peace of mind, in any case.

The element does come packaged fairly secure, its in a double cardboard box and heat shrunk in place.

Competitiveness

It's not just ge, but all appliance brands out there are the same.

Overall, this repair was easier and faster than i'd imagined.
