Pros & Cons

Update Pros and Cons

Pros

The only issue is where there screws go into the metal plate. Worked on my 12 year old ge monogram. Unfortunately i now have hardwood floors that needed to be repaired.

Bought this for my ge gdwf150r30ss dishwasher. Fits gdwt260r10ss. According to ge catalog, this part number replaces wd15x10011 that my dishwasher originally came with.

Fits and works great. Quick shipping and quality part. Exact fit and worked as advertised. Plumbing supply house at it for $25 + tax.

Easy to install. Easy peasy. Make sure to use plumbers tape on the threads.

Quality

Fixed my leak issue and was a very good quality.

Simple, easy to install and it worked.

Clip broke; had to go to ace hardware to get a suitable sized hose clamp.

This unit does not come with hardware to attach it to the dishwasher (read: carefully remove and keep the original screws) or t...  Read More

Price

Found this part on amazon for a great price.

Saved me a couple of hundred dollars off a service tech's visit.

Way cheaper to buy the part and do it yourself than to have a repairman come and fix it then overcharge for the part.

I thought the leak in the dishwasher meant it was dead or it would take at least a $500 repair.

Shipping

Shipping was fast and it was packaged well.

The part arrived within a couple of days and my life and hands are saved.

Sadly i didn't need it since my landlord fixed the issue the day before this arrived.

Packaging/appearance

Came in clearly designated packaging so i could inspect the part before opening.

Part looks identical to what i removed from my circa 2008 ge monogram refrigerator.

Competitiveness

$20 and an hour of time is much better than a new $700 dishwasher.

Compared to other places selling the part needed for outlet ge cafe dishwasher.

I have a ge model number gdwf160vss that was purchased in 2012 at home depot; the part number for my model was slightly differe...  Read More
